Vedic Mathematics is a collection of Techniques/Sutras to
solve mathematical arithmetics in easy and faster way. It
consists of 16 Sutras (Formulae) and 13 sub-sutras (Sub
Formulae) which can be used for problems involved in
arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, conics.
Vedic Mathematics is a system of mathematics which was
discovered by Indian mathematician Jagadguru Shri
Bharathi Krishna Tirthaji in the period between A.D. 1911
and 1918 and published his findings in a Vedic Mathematics
Book by Tirthaji Maharaj
Veda is a Sanskrit word which means ‘Knowledge’.
Using regular mathematical steps, solving problems sometimes
are complex and time consuming. But using Vedic
Mathematic’s General Techniques (applicable to all sets of
given data) and Specific Techniques (applicable to specific
sets of given data),numerical calculations can be done very
fast.
How Vedic Mathematics is Beneficial
and What are the Advantages of
Vedic Mathematics
Vedic Mathematics can definitely solve mathematical numerical
calculations in faster way. Some Vedic Math Scholars mentioned
that Using Vedic Maths tricks you can do calculations 10-15 times
faster than our usual methods. I agree this to some extent because
some methods in Vedic Mathematics are really very fast. But some of this methods are dependent on the specific numbers which are to
be calculated. They are called specific methods.
Lets take 1 example to see the Power of Vedic Mathematics.

Vedic mathematics has origin from the fourth veda called
“Atharva Veda”. Vedic mathematics is a system of
mathematics which consists a list of basic 16 sutras. Vedic
mathematics was introduced by “Hindu Scholar” of
mathematics in the early age of 20th century. The calculating
strategies provided by Vedic mathematics are very creative
and useful which can be applied in a number of ways to
calculate various methods in arithmetic and Algebra.
The improvement of numerical memory
The first effect, the improvement of numerical memory, can be demonstrated by asking students to remember three-to-nine –digit numbers read aloud and to recite the memorized items orally. Abacus students are found to be superior in the accuracy of their memory and the number of digits they are able to memorize when compared with non-abacus learners of the same age. This is because students place numbers on the abacus image in their head as they mentally calculate with the abacus method. The retention of the numbers is certain if the number of digits does not exceed the limit of the mental images of the abacus. Utilization of the abacus image enables students even to recite the memorized numbers backwards. This is possible because of the application of the procedures used in the abacus method of mental calculation to solving the memorization assignment.

Calligraphy is an art of Beautiful Writing made with the Handwriting is one where we generally write to communicate by using ink pen. Calligraphy is made by using different nibs which are generally flat and oblique. Calligraphy helps to make schools projects creative.
